- Legal basis for processing
The processing of personal data requires a legal basis, which we would like to clarify to you in the following.
For the processing of personal data, for which we obtain consent from the person concerned, Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.
For the processing of personal data which is necessary to fulfil a contract, where a contractual party is the person concerned, Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also includes processing operations that are required to carry out pre-contractual procedures.
Should the processing of personal data be necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation which applies to our company, Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter c GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Should processing be necessary to protect the legitimate interests of our company or of a third party, and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the party concerned do not outweigh the interests mentioned previously, Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter f GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing. The legitimate interests of our company lie in the performance of our business activity and in the analysis, optimisation and maintenance of our online service.
Log files, hosting
Any data that the browser transmits to us within the context of our legitimate interest in analysis and for security reasons is automatically stored in the server statistics (so-called “log files”).
This includes the following data:

We are not generally able to assign this data to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. The data is also deleted within 7 days, following statistical analysis. Data that must be retained for the purpose of providing evidence shall not be deleted until the matter has been clarified definitively.
Furthermore, we collect anonymised data regarding usage behaviour on the website in order to continually improve our online service. We do not share this data. This data is used purely for statistical analysis, and does not enable individual persons to be identified.
We use hosting services. These serve to provide infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services and technical maintenance services, in order to maintain the operation of this online service.
For this purpose we, and/or our hosting service provider, process inventory data, contact details, content data, contractual data, usage data, meta and communication data from customers, interested parties and visitors to this online service, on the basis of our legitimate interests in the efficient and secure provision of this online service.
